Wintek Construction was involved in another massive project to create an Annexe, which is a self-contained unit that is an addition to the main accommodation. This unit comprises of 5 rooms, including a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a separate living room, and a bathroom. Wintek noticed early on that the construction of the annex foundation was weak, therefore they opted in building a raft foundation to redistribute the weight over the entire building to reduce the stress that might be caused over time. The internal finishes included underfloor heating, modern units, bathroom fittings, and tiled floors and walls.
